Lantern算是Chapel Hill最有名氣的中餐廳了；在2009來到此地時，付小猴子薪水的友人提前一個月訂卻只訂到極早的晚餐時間，食物雖然美味，但是當時只覺得中式口味不那麼地道地，因此沒留下好印象；事隔多年沾網球已經打得比老公好的友人的光，又再次拜訪這間餐廳，此時竟有說不說的感動，終於又可以回到“餐廳時尚圈”的行列，希望下次不要再等那麼久了!
整間餐廳給人的感覺就是舒服，服務人員素質也非常好，用餐就是在享受。每個餐點的擺盤都很講究，價位當然就不用說了！這篇遲來的食記，讓我又上了他們的網頁查看了一下，發現現在店內裝潢改了，菜單則是一直有在變動，還是分享一下當時的美食!
前菜Oyster，新鮮但不推薦，價位太高
Pork & Chive Dumplings(這道菜好像一直都有)，Lantern是一間Asian Fusion的餐廳，來這裡就要有勇氣嘗鮮，嘗試不同口味口感的創意。還記得第一次付小猴子薪水的友人帶我們來吃被我與小猴子嫌說不道地，多年後再來發現我們都習慣以往的口味，卻忘了敞開心去試試不一樣的食材組合，美式Dumpling~
Spring Roll(內餡好像也一直在換)，小子們當時很愛，炸得恰到好處，不油不膩，內餡飽滿豐富。
接下來是它們的主餐，我必須說點了三道主餐，每樣都好吃。多年前他們的雞料理就一直讓我念念不忘，多年後還是一樣的讓人驚艷，皮酥脆鹹淡剛好！如果今天來這只有錢點一道菜，應該會選雞；另外他們的菜單一直有變動，但基本的食材不變，雞與豬的料理都處理得非常好，非常推薦!

緊接著是甜點，大餐一定要有甜點才圓滿，真的是太幸福了~別小看旁邊的每樣小裝飾，個人覺得他的甜點都很用心地去搭配，脾胃身心靈都得到了大滿足呀！
看到Panna Cotta的香草籽了嗎?非常香濃呀！加上旁邊的核果芝麻脆香，醃漬的梅子配上甜甜的奶酪口味剛好對味！
